Last week I took some time off and headed for the Alps for some skiing fun. The picturesque landscape and awesome skiing conditions aside I had a wave of weather-related inspiration. Seeing the skiers and snowboarders arrive at the bar for some lunchtime bombardinos I thought how much our faces are affected by weather. Winter sports are the epitome of that - wind making your eyes water, sun blazing on your nose and snow bashing on your cheeks. Combine that with the big grin of a successful run down on the black slope and a mini-project begs to be photographed. So, here are some of my favourite apres-ski faces of the Italian Alps...
