I love great food. One of my favourite types of food has to be italian - often simple, generally delicious, its accessible and unfussy, and a joy to eat.
My camera has a tendency to lead me to interesting places and not too long ago it took me to the best pizza I've eaten outside of Italy. Down a busy pedestrianised street in Soho not far from a massive sex shop is gorgeous neapolitan food. James and Thom from Pizza Pilgrims drove a tiny two seater van all the way from Italy so that they could light the gas burner in the back of it and make pizza where ever they fancied. They now do it almost every day selling lunch to many a food lover.
Saliva inducing smells, indulgent tastes and some really pretty food to photograph - a good day.
And here are the two brothers who run it, Thom and James.
Thanks to Westside magazine for the assignment
